MX World Collection

MX World Collection

Welcome to one of Europe's largest museums for those who like motorcycles in general and motocross in particular. With a collection of over 350 different bicycles, it is a world-unique collection you can view on site in Vimmerby.

In January 2014, the doors were opened for the motocross museum MX World Collection in Vimmerby. It is Magnus Frodig who, after many years of collecting special things in motocross and at the same time renovating a large number of motocross bikes, wants to show off his special collection to the public. This is to preserve the fantastic history of motocross.

In recent years, the collection has mostly consisted of unique motocross bikes such as special factory bikes and motocross bikes ridden by famous riders as well as around ten world champion bikes.

The building is brand new and specially built for this purpose. It also houses a café, workshop and laundry hall.

On the ground floor, standard crosses will be displayed along with items from famous drivers as well as a presentation of the driver. The oldest cross is from 1958 but in the Husqvarna timeline a side vent from 1929 will be first. The timelines stretch up to the present.

The second floor will be filled with special motocross and enduro bikes such as world champion bikes and factory bikes. Even "ordinary" but special motorcycles will be displayed, such as the first Honda to win the Novemberkåsan 2008 with Carl-Johan Bjerkert and his clothes from that particular Kåsan.
