At tMusteriet in Djursdala, just north of Vimmerby, you live in a culturally historic environment in Småland, the homeland of Astrid Lindgren. A genuine village environment with beautiful apple orchard.

Djursdala just outside of Vimmerby in Småland is a culturally protected village with roots from the Middle Ages. Here lies the barns along the street, resembling the way it looked in the old times of Sweden. This is where Musteriet is situated, which has now been transformed into a summer paradise with accommodation, apple cider mill, and a cafe/restaurant.

Musteriet is located in the middle of the old village and here do they also have a traditional apple cider mill where the make the apple juice from their own orchard. In one of the warehouse buildings, you'll find a restaurant. The accommodation have a total of 9 beds and you will stay in a red house dating back to the 1800th century. Here you will live in comfortable rooms with access to a kitchen and two dining areas. On the farm you can also see the chickens and Icelandic horses.

Here you are in the middle of Småland and in Astrid Lindgren's hometown. A rich cultural area where you can visit Astrid's childhood home Näs or Astrid Lindgren's world, among other things. The surroundings also offer several beautiful cycle and hiking trails through forest and stone fenced yards. Also, don't miss Norra Kvills National Park with the over 1000-year-old Kvilleeken.
